NATURE

One of the city’s must-see sights is the Parque Fundidora. Once a huge steel factory it’s been transformed into a cultural centre with museums, concert halls and an amusement park. EVENTS
Monterrey loves a party and is home to numerous events. As well as national and religious festivals, there’s Latin America’s largest film festival, an international dance, music and theatre festival, and even a puppet festival for kids. The Obispado was built by Catholic bishops in the 1780s and – set on a hill above the city – it provides amazing, panoramic views.
