Things to do
CULTURE
Don’t miss a visit to the Picasso museum, housed inside a striking medieval chateau overlooking the sea. This unique collection consists entirely of works the artist produced in Antibes, using the chateau as his studio. Or you could drop by the Archaeological Museum, and let the fascinating artefacts transport you back to when the resort was the Ancient Greek port of Antipolis.
BEACHES & WATER
It’s easy to enjoy a luxury break in Antibes without ever leaving the waterside. Sink your toes into soft white sand as you stroll along pristine beaches. Or seek out a hidden cove for a leisurely swim in the warm and shimmering Mediterranean sea. Antibes has long been a hotspot for watersports with plenty of opportunities to snorkel, dive and sail.
EVENTS
Jazz first came to Antibes in the roaring ‘20s, when authors, actors and musicians brought it over from America. The flourishing annual Jazz à Juan festival in neighbouring Juan-le-Pins shows it’s just as popular now as it was then.
