137 Pillars House

A historic building set in stunning gardens in Old Chiang Mai

Built in the 1880's as part of the East Borneo Company headquarters, 137 Pillars House is a beautiful teak wood building that has been carefully restored to reflect its 19th-century origins. With 30 beautiful suites, gourmet dining, a swimming pool, library and an array of spa treatments, this place has a warm and relaxing ambiance.

The undoubted air of sophistication at 137 Pillars House is in part due to the interplay between the nostalgic design and décor and the modern comforts of a contemporary hotel. Each of the generously-sized suites has a veranda or patio overlooking the stunning gardens.

My partner and I were made to feel welcome from their first moment of greeting us at the hotel to our last goodbyes. Wonderful rooms, gorgeous architecture, and central location all add to a truly magical experience.
