We loved the quiet setting, the food and the service

Having had our doubts between Verbania and Stresa we can't be happier with our choice to stay at Grand Hotel Majestic. We went to Stresa for a short trip and it was very busy and touristic.

Lovely hotel - full of character with stunning views over the lake.

We loved the view from our room over the lake. The gardens were peaceful and led into the pool which was a very generous size. Cocktails on the terrace were dreamy with super service.

Spectacular location

The view from the hotel and grounds is stunning. The staff as kind and efficient. Nice, short walk to the village of Palanza. Boat trip to Borromeo islands is a must do.
