Laneways by Ovolo

Tucked into Melbourne’s labyrinth of Victorian-era alleys and arcades is Laneways by Ovolo. Inspired by the city’s unique spirit and colour-splashed streets, it’s also influenced by the musical heartland of Memphis, Tennessee. Expect to see nods to both places wrapped up in its 80’s nostalgia design theme, from accent colours to original artwork. 

The rooms are all studios or suites, so you’ll have plenty of space to work, rest or play. Super comfy beds, walk-in rain showers and sleek sofas for lounging come as standard. Book a Terrace Suite for bird’s-eye views of the city, or the Memphis Penthouse to soak in your private outdoor hot tub. Suite 303 has been crafted by the design aficionado Neale Whitaker, so you can expect to stay among his hand-picked objects d’art while listening to his personally curated Spotify playlist.
