Mirror Lake Inn has three fantastic dining options. The View is our Four-Diamond restaurant that offers a gourmet menu in an upscale setting. Wine Spectator Award for 15 consecutive years. Taste Bistro is a casual alternative with a fun menu of pub-style favorites located right in the Main House. Great view, warm fireplaces and live music each Friday night. The Cottage Cafe is our most casual option and located directly on the shores of Mirror Lake. They serve a variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and wraps. Dine inside by the wood burning stove in the winter or on the large deck overlooking the lake in the summer.

Taste Bistro and Bar is recognized for a warm- friendly and casual atmosphere where food and drink are the primary focus. The restaurant features dark wood- close tables- great smells of steak- duck- pommes frites and onion soup all served next to a crackling fire. With a panoramic view of Mirror Lake- a porch with comfortable rockers and close proximity to the grandeur of a four-diamond hotel- this comfortable nook is a welcoming place to dine for house guests and local residents.

The View offers exceptional food in a relaxed Adirondack atmosphere. Its perfect for a romantic candlelight dinner for two or an enjoyable dinner with the family. Our chef offers nightly specials and spa entrees. Lake and mountain views- fireplaces and historic murals.
The Cottage Cafe

Your visit wouldnt be complete without a stop at the renowned Cottage Cafe- recognized by many travel and recreation magazines as Lake Placids finest pub. The Cottage offers a cozy dining room and waterfront deck that looks out to Mirror Lake and the dramatic Adirondack High Peaks beyond. With unique twists on pub-style favourites- special health-conscious dishes and a childrens menu- the Cottages bill of fare has something for everyone. And its wide selection of international beers.
