Introducing Lambi Beach

To the north of Kos town itself, beautiful Lambi beach stretches for over 1,000 metres around the northern tip of the island. A firm favourite with holidaymakers, there are sunbeds to lounge on by day and plenty of restaurants to choose from at night. Kos town and the picturesque village of Tigaki are just a stroll away.

Things to do

SPORT
Cycling seems to be a regional pastime in Kos, and Lambi beach is just the place to do it. With over 1km of flat sands to enjoy, it’s perfect for bikes or even a spot of rollerskating. And don’t forget the watersports – take to the ocean for waterskiing or windsurfing.

KIDS
With its shallow sloping sands, Lambi beach is much loved by families, as the water never gets too deep. There are lots of organised activities to keep young ones entertained, or why not purchase a bat and ball or Frisbee at the local boutiques lining the beach?

FOOD
Visitors to Lambi beach will find a wide selection of restaurants and grill houses close by. If you fancy some fresh fish, make sure to visit Tigaki for a bite at a local tavern. There are lots of snack bars along the beachfront too, so you don’t have to venture far from the golden sands for lunch.

Top Tip from SLH

If you like your sizzling summer temperatures with a refreshing breeze, the sands are more exposed towards the northern tip of the island, where it’s slightly cooler.
