Exquisite views of the Swiss Alps

Set high on a plateau above the Rhone Valley, Crans-Montana is a centre for outdoor adventure all year round. Together, these twin-resorts form a modern mountain town where you’ll find rustic inns and fine dining restaurants, designer boutiques and down-to-earth folk traditions. All surrounded by panoramic views across the Valais Alps.

Things to do

SKI
Crans-Montana offers some of the sunniest ski slopes in Switzerland. With a large piste area, there’s something for all abilities – and it has extensive nursery slopes, making it a great option for families and beginners. If you have young children, the golf course even transforms into a snowy wonderland full of family activities such as sledging.

FOOD
From Rhone valley orchards and vineyards to high mountain pastures, the Valais Alps are brimming with local specialities. This includes distinctive salted, dry-cured beef – delicious with regional cheese such as the famous Raclette. Crans-Montana isn’t all about tradition however, with plenty of gourmet restaurants using Alpine delicacies as a starting point for culinary exploration.

SPORT
Crans-Montana is made for those who love active holidays. In winter, mix things up and swap your skis for a dog sled, or even try kite surfing. While the warmer months open up the landscape for rock climbing, mountain biking and hiking. There are also plenty of ways to take things at a more leisurely pace, whether that’s a round of golf or afternoon at a luxury spa.
