Introducing Wengen

Nestled at the foot of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau mountain range, Wengen puts you at the heart of breathtaking scenery. With 15 cable cars up to the mountains, the opportunity for an invigorating hike or exhilarating ski is never far away.

Things to do

SKIING
The world famous Lauberhorn and Eigergletscher ski runs are within easy reach of Wengen, and whether you’re a beginner or an old pro you’ll find plenty of piste to suit you. If you’re here in January, don’t miss the exclusive Lauberhorn Downhill Ski Race.

SPORTS
Wengen is the home of extremes. The International Jungfrau Marathon, arguably the toughest event of its kind, passes through here in September. The world’s best climbers and skiers visit too, but you’ll find there’s something for every ability.

KIDS
One magical way to see the awesome beauty of the Jungfrau is to travel by the Junfraubahn, a mountain railway that stops at an incredible 11.333 feet above sea level. Gaze in wonder at the glaciers of the Jungfraujoch.

Top Tip from SLH

Wengen is car-free, but if you are arriving by railway you should be able to hail an electric taxi to take you to your destination.
