A grand late Renaissance country house built in the 16th-century, Villa le Maschere Resort has been adapted over the centuries to produce an outstandingly beautiful Tuscan villa that sits in a romantic park dotted with sequoia trees. There is also an Italian-styled garden, two swimming pools and a health and beauty centre.
Painstaking restoration has revealed beautiful stuccos and frescoes by Giovanni Battista Foggini, master architect and sculptor to the Duke of Tuscany Cosimo III de Medici.
