Really wonderful rooftop suite. We stayed upstairs and the kids took rooms one level down. The hotel is in the crowded and rather cramped Plaka district of Athens. Lots to see and do but limited space so retreating to our rooftop deck after a bustly day of sight-seeing was amazing. There are some parking garages relatively close by but they couldn't accommodate our mini-bus (notwithstanding me having called to check with the hotel in advance) and it was frustrating finding anywhere nearby that could.

While some other reviewers didn't care for entering the hotel through an actual boutique, we thought it was charming and the lovely hard-working ladies who greeted us couldn't have been nicer. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable, with twice-daily room service. The location was perfect for access to restaurants, museums, cafes and historic sites. We are so glad we didn't stay at one of the big luxury chain hotels. We would definitely stay here again!

There are NO hotel facilities such as Reception area, lobby, bar, breakfast room, pool/spa, roof terrace. Also, whilst the neighbourhood Plaka is popular and charming for its historical streets and proximity to the Acropolis, the property is located in the midst of tourist souvenir shops on a crowded street which does not match the luxury appeal of the property.

I arrived at the hotel quite late and was greeted with such hospitality. I believe it was Georgia who was waiting for me that night. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming that I felt like I was arriving home. What I loved most was how they kept many elements from the original building from the 1800s. My room had a charming little balcony that made me feel like a local. I really felt transported in time. The neighborhood is so charming with lots of cafes and restaurants around. The breakfast room service was also delicious and very generous. As I was checking out, I was heartbroken to be leaving, I had such a lovely time and would've loved to extend my stay. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and would highly reccomend it to anyone travelling to Athens. A special thanks again to Georgia and all the amazing staff
