Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate

Traditional luxury and unforgettable dining on Ireland’s wild west coast

On the shores of Lough Corrib, through grand cast-iron gates and up a meandering driveway, the finest Irish hospitality awaits. Close to vibrant Galway City, Glenlo Abbey Hotel and Estate blends traditional elegance with unique dining experiences and a contemporary spa.

Glenlo Abbey’s grandeur doesn’t stop at the gates: marble bathrooms, pillow-soft beds and luxurious fabrics set the stylish tone in its bedrooms and suites. Plump for views of the lough, or the 18th century abbey. Dine al-fresco on the Abbey Terrace, cosy up in the mahogany-panelled Oak Cellar Bistro, or relax over whisky and live music in Palmers Bar and Kitchen. For a truly unforgettable banquet, step aboard the Pullman Restaurant and enjoy a lavish meal in one of its two restored Orient Express carriages that rival the surrounding scenery in their splendour.
