Amazing classic hotel on an ideal part of the lake. Free loungers & rowing too!

Amenities were excellent, loungers, pool (very cold but refreshing), saunas, location, view, etc. Overall an excellent time and it was absolutely worth it to stay directly on the lake

Service and local knowledge made the trip seamless

We came for some hiking and outdoor activities, and when we caught a bit of rain, the front desk team jumped into action and created a great itinerary that included some great food and sightseeing via car until the rain cleared.

Fantastic Hotel in a fantastic setting

Stayed with friends at the beautiful Grand Hotel Toplice. The lake view rooms were spacious and offer the best views of lake bled and the castle. The restaurant can only accommodate some 24 people- which gives it a uniquely intimate character Simon Bertoncelj has worked with world-famous chef Gordon Ramsey and Marc Meurin- holder of 2 Michelin stars. Most recently he worked with German chef Bobby Brauer- holder of 18 Gault Millau points and 3 toques.

Vinarte Wine Bar

Wines- wine gifts and wine accessories shop. The Wine list contains more than 300 and more different labels different vintages- wines by the glass- wine tastings for 6 to 20 persons guided by the Grand Hotel Toplice trained sommeliers. The Vinarte wine cellar can be opened also upon request out of working hours in case of reservations for groups of ten or more guests.

Aperitif Bar and Lake Saloon

Served Meals: Brunch Aperitif bar offers spectacular views of Lake Bled and Bled Castle. Open daily from 8 am offering live piano concerts- exquisite offer of Cocktails- wines and spirits as well as light snacks and selection of mouth-watering desserts.

Grand Restaurant

Served Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Grand Hotel restaurant offers stunning views of the Lake Bled and can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. The Restaurant is open for Breakfast as well as Dinner Service for all hotel guests. In the spring/summer periods guests can enjoy their dining experience also on the lake-front as the restaurant offers seating on the terrace.

Terrace Bar Jezero

Served Meals: Brunch Right on the lake shore- shaded by tall chestnut trees- you will find the Julijana Restaurant terrace where you can also enjoy the original Bled cream cake. The menu is adapted to the seasons and the chef is always happy to recommend the specialties of the day. The menu is complemented by a large selection of top Slovenian wines.
