Hacienda Zorita is an easy 10 - 15 minute drive from Salamanca , the hotel will advise on the best place to park in the city. It's lovely to spend the day sightseeing and then enjoy the peace and tranquility of the hotel. There are stunning river views and lovely gardens. The breakfast offering was excellent although the coffee machine required perseverance ... We also ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner, the food was very good as were the wines. As with all old buildings there are some quirks and oddities, the bathroom in our room which was on the top floor could have been better but i'm sure that was to do with architectural issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay and found the reception staff and the waiting staff very helpful and we do not speak Spanish.

When we walked into our duplex room & saw the views it was a big wow !!! Over two floors with two bathrooms it was beautiful. Would have been nice if one bathroom had had a proper shower as the ones over the bath where not a perfect option. There was a safe but you had to be a contortionist to use it, Read more[SPLIT]Read lessas it was in the bottom of the wardrobe & you had to crawl in with the light from a phone to actual open & close it. Also you had tea/coffee facilities but a sign read that if you used more then 3 products you would be charged 2Euros per item. We asked if the 3 items where daily but where told definitely not - per stay. How unfair that you get the same amount of refreshments for one night as four. The beef sandwiches served at lunch where the best we ever had. Sat by the river with these & a cold bottle of wine was just perfect. We thought the a la carte dinner menu & the wine list were extremely reasonably priced, and the quality of the food was first class. The inclusive wine tasting was informative & very well presented, and what a setting, an amazing bodega. Can not wait to return for another visit.
