Eduard at reception set the tone on arrival - welcoming, courteous, thoughtful in anticipating our needs. Breakfast was a revelation and the setting for it was stylish and comfortable. Our room was cozy. we used the basement sauna - very nice experience.

Austrian delicacies and produce are championed at breakfast. This means organic Viennese coffee, homemade jams, local ham and sausages, and cooked-to-perfection eggs. Gold cutlery by Pinti 1929 and Lobmeyr glassware brings Das Tyrol’s signature elegant touch. Later in the day, perch at the onyx bar with an apple strudel cocktail before letting the staff point you in the direction of Vienna’s best restaurants.

Spa

Entering the private spa at Das Tyrol feels like stepping into an exotic world. The centrepiece is a huge saltwater aquarium with tropical fish. Relax on therapy loungers or refresh in the spacious gold-tiled showers. There’s a sauna, steam room and soft towels for final pampering.
