The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Located higher in the hills away from the very busy centre of Taormina, with fantastic views of Etna and the coastline. The restaurant was excellent. We loved Villa Ducale and will certainly go back! It is high on the hill over Taormina with magical views of Mount Etna and the sea. The bedrooms were lovely too, filled with little details that make such a difference (flip flops, toothpaste and high quality toiletries). If I have anything to criticise (very mildly), it would perhaps that the pool and deck areas might need an upgrade, but really this place is so fantastic I am struggling to find anything to balance the review! I cannot recommend it highly enough.
