La Torre del Canónigo
Old soul, modern spirit: a sophisticated hilltop hotel set above the yachts and youthful energy of Ibiza’s capital
Outside, La Torre del Canónigo remains connected to its past. But inside, this hotel is firmly in contemporary territory. Renovated rooms blend a minimalist White Isle palette and exposed stone walls with velvet fabrics and modern monochrome details. It’s the perfect canvas for enjoying views across the port of Ibiza and, if you reserve the right room, the sunrise. Soak it up from the restaurant or rooftop terrace, or the pool that promises marina views.

When the sun’s up again, stroll back down the hill from La Torre del Canónigo and you’ll have all sorts of shops and restaurants to take a breather at. If the hotel has sparked an interest in Ibizan history, keep it aflame at Old Town’s Museu Puget, the Necròpolis del Puig des Molins and Catalan cathedral. Or take things in a more modern direction at Museu d’art Contemporani d’Eivissa. You’re at the heart of the island here, so expect a magnetic mix of elegant plazas and buzzing bars, glamorous beaches and hedonistic nightclubs.
Enjoy your stay!

Stepping back in time
A sun terrace and series of stairways link the three parts of La Torre del Canónigo. Puget House was once a Jesuit Convent known for its olive grove. This is now where guests can dip into the hotel swimming pool and solarium. When it’s time to head to Corsair Restaurant & Terrace to eat, you’ll be walking into a 10th-century space – and in the footsteps of pirates and painters. And for all those staying in a terrace suite, look for signs of the secret underground passages that lie beneath this ancient watchtower – if you can draw your eyes from the sea views.
From day to nightlife
A lack of cars means Dalt Vila feels a world (and century) away from the bustle of the harbour, perfect for meandering through medieval streets. Strike out further for a day at the beach. Talamanca, a little over a mile from Ibiza Town, is the place to see and be seen, while nearby S’Estanyol has ‘secret cove’ written all over it. After the sun sets (best seen from Torre del Canónigo), it’s time to hit Ibiza Town. As well as some of the White Isle’s glitziest and most iconic clubs, sophisticated restaurants and bars can be found alongside the yachts lining Marina Botafoch. Our rooms

A rare oasis of hospitality
The views are spectacular. The attention to detail in the architecture and design refreshingly quirky. The staff a wonderful mix of warm hospitality and professionalism.
