Very pleasant and courteous staff. Although the restaurant was closed on the evenings we were staying there were plenty of restaurants within an easy walk both towards George and Princess Street and in the other direction towards Stockbridge. Small, intimate and relaxing hotel.

The Stockbridge neighborhood was fantastic. Cheese monger, Italian restaurants, wine bar! Nira has wonderful customer service and that small boutique hotel vibe. FYI-no elevator so you may need to request lower level.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, it is in a great location just a short walk from all the main Edinburgh attractions, the hotel service is really good, the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Room was large and clean, great breakfasts with a good selection - evening meals are also very good.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Princess Street in a beautiful area. We stayed for a couple of nights. Room was spacious and well equipped. Really liked the Ruark radio just like we have at home! Service was excellent throughout. Not overly fussy but efficient.
