Truly stunning cliff-side escape in Capri with spectacular sea views

Clinging to the cliff face overlooking the sea and the renowned Faraglioni rock formation, Punta Tragara has an intriguing history. Designed by Le Corbusier as a private villa in the 20s, the house was headquarters for the American Command during World War II and played host to Eisenhower and Churchill. Today, this stunning hotel is an elegant retreat, full of charisma and character with fabulous food, two outdoor pools and the most glorious sea views.

The décor and furnishings at Punta Tragara are ravishingly stylish yet refreshingly down to earth with sculptures, antique, archaeological artefacts and contemporary works of art, all meticulously placed. Outside is designed for sunbathing, swimming and gazing over the sparkling bay.

Take a private boat tour to the Blue Grotto and then around the island. Back at Punta Tragara, watch the sun set while enjoying an aperitif at the bar before dining ‘al fresco’ on the veranda at Monzu restaurant.
