Stepping off the busy streets into the discret door of the refinery hotel is like stepping into a oppulent haven which blends modern with a dash of history. The building is an old hat factory and you will see touches of it's history through out the hotel while enjoying all the modern ammenities and comforts. Great four night stay over New Year. We had looked for a hotel which was not too big and within walking distance of Birdland jazz club. The Refinery was a great fit. The Refinery is my new go to NYC hotel . I was totally blown away by the level of customer service. The hotel is extremely accommodating and checks on you throughout the day via text. There were many perks like complimentary wine during happy hour and coffee and tea in the morning just to name a few. There is a rooftop restaurant with a retractable roof and two other restaurants Parker and Quinn and a jazz bar. I really enjoyed my experience and have been telling everyone about their superb customer service.
