Wander through history

Santa Boka is surrounded by a rich and varied history, from the bustling streets of Kotor’s Old Town to the hallowed island of Our Lady of the Rocks. Stunning architecture and Baroque palaces flow right down to the sea – no beaches here – but plenty of sheltered swimming spots and pretty jetties. For the best views, hike up to the Fortress of San Giovanni above Kotor, or hire a bike for a sedate cycle around the shore. Boat trips criss-cross the bay, and everything looks prettiest at night, with harbourside and café lights reflected in the sea.
