Set across three buildings – Mar, Tierra and Cielo – each promises ocean, forest or sweeping views stretching all the way to La Mola’s peak. Each has its own identity, whether it’s walls crafted from sun-warmed Formentera stone or rooftop suites illuminated by starlight. It’s a spirit that carries through to the main restaurant, Teranka Garden. Or you could simply order lunch (and cocktails) to be served at your poolside cabana.

The ‘no news, no shoes’ ethos carries through to the beach, Playa Migjorn, with its icing-sugar sand and turquoise sea. Doing nothing is part of the attraction here. But those in search of wildlife should head for UNESCO-protected Ses Salines d’Eivissa Natural Park, where flamingos flock.
