Its focus is on bringing the freshest flavours from land and ocean to your plate. Lunch beside the pool on light dishes like bouillabaisse and fragrant steamed mussels. Indulge at dinner with a decadent seafood platter or traditional South African bobotie. After a day by the sea, the SandBar is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a glass of fine South African wine.

Plettenberg Bay is just one of many highlights of the diverse 200km Garden Route, one of South Africa’s most popular experiences. Charming towns dot the coastal road, and stirring scenery waits around every corner. Close to Plettenberg Bay, visit rugged Robberg Nature Reserve and its colony of cape fur seals, or go ‘big five’ spotting at Botlierskop Private Game Reserve.
