For those who love a low-key hike, head to the Jenner Headlands Preserve. Coastal trails like Islands in the Sky provide sweeping vistas and refreshing temperatures year-round. And, yes, the area’s eponymous Russian River flows to the ocean, entertaining kayakers of all ages.
