The staff are very warm and welcoming from the minute you check in. They kindly upgraded us as we have stayed previously and the studio suite with balcony is just stunning. beautiful decor, lovely view of the shard and mini bar with a few amenities such as soft drinks and nibbles which is a nice touch. The hotel is on a quiet side street away from it all but also ideally located.

This is a very very nice, first class hotel in a location that is very easy to find. It has beautiful decor throughout. The room we stayed in had everything you could possibly need, with a very comfortable large bed and a well stocked bathroom with a great shower. Last but not least, every member of staff that we encountered were all really positive, friendly, attentive and courteous - a credit to the Hotel. For a brand new hotel Vintry and Mercer has the feel of a well established, intimate bolt hole. The welcome at reception was wonderful. All the staff we encountered were friendly, well informed and really seemed to enjoy their jobs. Our room, an executive king was wonderful. Very nicely decorated Read more[SPLIT]Read lesswith well thought out design and some lovely touches - the free soft drinks in the mini bar, the bluetooth sound system and a really well thought out lighting design. The rooms seem really well sound proofed - we honestly didn't hear a thing during our stay. The bathroom looks great and has lovely amenities. My little niggles were that there was no mirror over the sink for shaving and no where to hang a hand towel after you've washed your hands. Not deal breakers but really easily remedied.
