Introducing Tel Aviv

Golden, sandy beaches, lapped by the Mediterranean and fringed by beach resorts. Where vibrant nightlife meets new world glamour, and ancient history comes alive. Boasting impressive views of the city, the magnificent coastline is dotted with a selection of luxury hotels. Tel Aviv could not be more different to the capital and is certainly worth a visit.

Things to do

HISTORY
Tel Aviv is known for its vibrant past and fashionable present. In Old Jaffa you’ll find quaint stone houses and hints of an Ottoman past. Take time to admire the ‘White City’ and its 1930s Bauhaus buildings that have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

SHOPPING
The bustling markets of Tel Aviv have a distinctly Mediterranean feel. Saunter through Jaffa’s flea market and discover a hotchpotch of antiques, jewellery and trinkets – and don’t forget to haggle. For chic boutiques, spend time in Neve Zedek – a neighbourhood lined with designer shops and trendy cafés.

DAY TRIPS
If you can tear yourself away from the lively atmosphere of Tel Aviv, arrange a private tour to Old Jerusalem. Here you’ll find ancient holy sites, like the Garden of Gethsemane and the Wailing Wall. Finish the day with a relaxing natural spa as you float in the Dead Sea or wallow in a mineral-rich mud bath.
