DAY TRIPS
Just off the coast from Imerovigli lies Skaros Rock. This picturesque outcrop is crowned by the ruins of a Venetian fortress, which once guarded the island from pirate raids. Take a boat tour out to Skaros, and walk up to the chapel on the north side – the views of the caldera are well worth the climb.
