When To Go

For the best wildlife spotting, visit during the dry season between July to September. This is when the Great Migration gets underway, with endless herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains in search of new grazing. The dryer months are also ideal for beach lovers, and intrepid trekkers heading to Kilimanjaro.

Top Tip from SLH

Head to the Ngorongoro Crater to experience a natural wonder: the world’s largest caldera.  While exploring you may catch a glimpse of another wonder – a rare black rhino.
