Introducing Todos Santos

Where the Sierra de la Laguna mountains meet the deep blue sea, Todos Santos begins. Laced by quaint, cobblestone streets, this ‘pueblo mágico’ is a vibrant gem of creativity on the coastline. Between hip art and music festivals, the pace slows and halcyon days echo a simpler time. Browse the independent galleries, strike out into the rugged landscape beyond or catch the Pacific drift from one of the surf-friendly playas that bookend the town.

Things to do

BEACHES
Perfectly situated towards the tip of Baja California Sur, Todos Santos has been quietly attracting surfers and sun-worshipers for decades. Playa Los Cerritos lies 20 minutes to the south, offering a gentle beach break and a laid-back vibe. While the rugged Playa Las Palmas is worth the hike for undiscovered sands, tidal pools and wild horses.

ART
Every year, art lovers and artisans flock to Todos Santos for its annual art festival. Local galleries throw open their doors, the streets move to the beat of traditional folk dances and a whole host of food vendors arrive to showcase culinary creativity. Crunch on a traditional Mexican elote as you take in crafts from across Central and South America.

FOOD & DRINK
Pescado ceviche, shrimp burritos, fresh-off-the-boat mahi mahi – the town’s thriving fishing community keeps an abundance of seafood on the menu. All best enjoyed with an ice-cold beer, and toes in the sand. And for those craving a dash of Mexican soul food, there are enchiladas, tacos and blue-corn tortillas aplenty.
